I have 4 sticks of Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR4 2400Mhz16-16-16-39 1.2V in an MSI Z170A Gaming M5. I have tested all 4 sticks (two at a time) in the 1/3 and 2/4 RAM slots on the mobo with memtest: no errors. Issue with running more than 4 sticks of ram. When I have 2 sticks of ram closest to the cpu it posts but when ever I have ram sticks in the other two slots it doesn't post. probably 4 because it says it will take up to 8 gb's of ram. most sticks of ram only go up to 2 gigabytes a stick so there would probably be 4 slots. it says it comes with 3gb which should be plenty for gaming and whatnot. what are you planning on doing with this computer? i built my own computer and only used 2 gigs and it's a fast one.
